The HummZinger Mini is my favourite feeder. It holds just enough for 3-4 days, if and when it does go empty before that time, I add more feeders. This is our secret to attracting more hummers and allowing them to feed in peace, without harassment from the dominate ones. It's easy to clean, bee and ant proof. I haven't found that we need the extra portal protectors in New Brunswick, wasps can't fit in the holes anyway and smaller flying insects don't seem to be an issue. It's just one more thing to clean, they're fairly expensive and the hummers don't seem to like them.

Extra Fancy Hummzinger
Although the most stylish of the Hummzinger series, it's not my favourite. I've found the placement of the hole and perch isn't ideal for the Hummers, they often try to land on the flower in between the perch and hole and end up doing a little tap dance while trying to feed, or they simply hover as shown in the Aspects YouTube video. All the other HummZinger feeders allow the bird to sit comfortably and feed. Also, since the bottom isn't flat, you can't set it down once it's put together, I had to put a cup hook by the door so I could hang it while I put my shoes on. The other Hummzingers, I can set on the floor or table after assembling. I don't require beauty in the feeder, that's supplied by the Hummingbirds, I want the total ease of use I get with the Mini. (Comes in rose or fuchsia)

We carry this feeder because everyone is familiar with it, hummers like it but it's hard to clean and leaks some. The best thing about this feeder is...removing a couple flowers and bee guard make this my favourite Oriole feeder. Without the flowers there's enough room and the glass bottle is heavy enough so it doesn't tip when Orioles land. We usually put it away after the Orioles move on.
